Growing food in extreme weather
Seasonal weather predictability has always been a cornerstone of any type of farming. Farmers rely on weather forecasting to determine which crops to cultivate and when to sow, fertilise and harvest them.
However, the general rise in temperatures brings along non-seasonal weather variability, which can pose many challenges. For example, increased length of frost-free season, increased night-time temperatures and changes in timing of snowmelt-driven runoffs. This reduces the farmers’ predictability and hence increases the risks of a low-yield harvest or ultimately a failed crop.

Certifications
As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, customers and consumers are demanding more information about how their food is farmed and whether it meets their expectations for quality, safety and climate impact.
Sharing information about how we farm is nothing new to us. We started tracking sustainability data back in 2010 and have openly shared them in our sustainability reports long before it became a standard expectation to do so.
However, due to its standardised nature, certifications make it easier for customers and consumers to navigate the many food choices available. Therefore, we have entered into a carefully selected portfolio of certifications to provide assurance to our customers and consumers of our farming practices.
Below we proudly present a selection of our current certifications.
